I was born in Japan in 1955.
I'm a photography enthusiast, not a professional one as I don't get money by selling my work or my services.
Mainly, my fieldworks are located in Tokyo and in the neighbourhood of my hometown in Chiba Prefecture.
I simply think, a light outfit is good for easy going and fitting into a street. As the passengers move towards me, I would be walking towards them. Basically, I'll find out the obvious persons in my sense, go closer to them, and take the photos. But, we need to take care of these actions towards the subject.
In my daily life, when I pay attention to my surroundings, I notice that there are many charming and vivacious women and men in my view. I try to stay as incognito as possible in their surroundings. For my subjects, I do not even exist. This state of being in minimum consiousness becomes possible due to travelling light with a small bag or empty handed. I'm glad that such kind of candid photos remains somewhere in the viewer's heart.
I believe that everybody has the natural desire to know the things in which they are interested.
However, the method to do that differs from person to person, as we know well. It's all right what we do, as we can try to do.
I'll try to advance step by step in my own way.
Thanks and regards,
